Jewellery Designer and star of TV shopping, Victoria Wieck is a household name in the US and the head of a $500m business empire.

This is the second in a two-part conversation with Victoria about how she went from printing and hand delivery low cost look books to big name retail stores in LA to becoming one of the most recognised faces in US TV shopping and head of a multi million dollar jewellery empire.

In this episode we pick up right after Victoria decided to try her hand at 'retirement' (spoiler; things didn't quite go as planned!) and explore her secrets to goal setting and how she uses these strategies to continuously take specific action in her business and grow.

I can't wait for you to join me.

Jewellery Designer and star of TV shopping, Victoria Wieck is a household name in the US and the head of a $500m business empire. But it wasn't always that way.

After immigrating as a child from South Korea, Victoria taught herself English before taking on several different jobs. By accident she fell into jewellery design, thinking it would be a stop gap before moving onto something else. But instead it was the start of a 30-year love affair with jewellery design. In 1998 she joined the Home Shopping Network in Florida, where she stayed for over 18 years.

Victoria lives by the philosophy of creating to meet the needs of the customer, whilst focusing on quality, value, connection and legacy. It's a mindset that has served her well. Along with her belief that we all make our own luck and many small actions can create big impacts.

Victoria was so generous and inspiring and shared so many amazing stories during our time together I've decided to split our chat into two episodes, so you get the entire unedited experience. I can't wait for you to join me.

A former magazine editor-turned-digital maestro, Kyle has also written for Outside, Men’s Health, Men’s Journal, VeloNews. He is obsessed with all-things online. As an expert in onsite optimization, email marketing, and digital brand growth, Kyle has successfully grown the online divisions of many well known brands, most recently surging online sales for Dr. Martens by increasing the web channel 38% year-over-year, doubling Speck Products’ online sales within 18 months, and establishing many lifestyle brands in the marketplace, from OOBE Brand to Ariat, KEEN Footwear to Xterra Wetsuits.

He’s also re-platformed many websites to be industry-leading sites, such as Chrome Industries, Hlaska, Nau, and more — even earning an Honoree Webby Award in the process for Best Practices along the way for Speck. His ability to massage the work of copywriters and art directors into a cohesive style and tone, and then mix it with the right audience and add a dash of sales is why Entrepreneur magazine once said of him, “Kyle made a career of growing online sales.”

Michelle Seiler Tucker, considered the Top Closer in the US and author of Exit Rich, is my guest on Bringing Business To Retail this week.

Starting her career in Sales and Development Michelle soon realized she was closing more deals than any of her colleagues. Ready for bigger challenges she set up a consultancy, partnering with business owners to help build scalable, saleable private companies and broker business sales.

Having sold a business, I was fascinated to hear Michelle's views on how many business owners have an exit strategy, how many actively work towards selling their business in the future, and the new stats showing the businesses are at greatest risk of closure, aren't startups.

Join Michelle for an episode packed with knowledge, strategies for preparing your business for sale, and an awesome free offer that will help you exit rich; whether your selling next year or in a decade.

For a lot of years now I've dreamed of owning a beach front property! Right now that dream is totally out of reach. But does that mean I've sat back, thrown my hands in the air and declared it an impossibility? No way! A few years ago I dipped my feet into the coastal property market and the risks I took are starting to pay dividends.

"What's this got to do with retail?" I hear you ask. I hear retailers tell me all the time about the big dreams they have for their store. Then I hear them say "but that's so far out of reach I have no idea how to get from here to there". Successful retailers don't declare their big dreams an impossibility, they take small, achievable steps towards making it a reality.

On this weeks episode of Bringing Business To Retail I'm sharing what measuring, planning and taking action looks like in real life. I want to show you how these three steps combined will get you closer to your big dreams.
